eBay Fee Changes - What You Need to Know
Plus: eBay Enhances Order Cancellation, Meta, Amazon, & Alphabet to Dominate Global Ad Spend
Happy Friday!
Big news for eBay users 👇
Starting October 1st, eBay will reduce the number of free listings for Private Sellers from 1,000 to 300 per month. After that, each listing will cost 35p. While this won’t directly impact business accounts, it’s likely to nudge pseudo-businesses operating under private accounts to switch to a business account.
Why does this matter?
Genuine private sellers rarely have more than 300 items to sell monthly. This change will push those running businesses under private accounts to declare themselves as business sellers, unlocking better fee rates and making the marketplace more transparent for customers.
